Automation

Auto responders, automatic reactions, aliases and invoke messages.

Trigger and response, without a command in between. An autoresponder watches for a phrase and answers with text, a container or a script; an autoreact adds emoji to matching messages; an alias turns one word into another command.

Responses are stored per server and per trigger, so two servers can have completely different sets. Long responses are split across messages rather than truncated.

Worth knowing

Autoresponder scripts only run on the server that owns them, and only with the permissions the bot already has.
Triggers match on whole words by default; a wildcard is explicit, not implicit.
Aliases resolve once. An alias pointing at another alias will not loop.
