the grief setup guide

One page per system, in the order the bot asks for them. Start at the top and work down, or send a moderator straight at the page they need. Every command here is one grief actually answers to.

The default prefix is ;. Slash commands work whatever it is set to.

Quick start

1Add grief to the serverInvite it with the permissions checked. Nothing else in this guide works until that install is finished.
2Set a prefix staff will remembergrief answers to a single symbol. Slash commands ignore it, so this only changes the message form.
3Fill in the server settingsStaff roles, the mod log, the join log, the muted role and jail exist before you need them, not after.
4Turn on moderation and securityModeration, automod, antinuke and antiraid are four different systems. Configure the ones you will actually staff.
5Take a backupOne snapshot of channels and roles, before anything else changes. It is the difference between a bad night and a lost server.
